Introduction

 

Hi! I am Rosemarie Tubalinal. I had been a Secretary, Bookkeeper, and Cashier for 26 years, but wanted to transition as a Virtual Assistant (VA) who would like to offer services to all kinds of industries.

 

As a Secretary for over 7 years, I have mastered answering and directing phone calls, organizing documents and paperwork, maintaining a filing system, and answering emails. 

 

I have basic knowledge of bookkeeping, such as recording financial transactions, reconciling bank accounts, handling accounts payables and receivables, preparing financial statements, and preparing payroll.

 

As a cashier, my responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.

 

I was not tech-savvy and had zero knowledge about Virtual Assistant that I need to learn from scratch. But thanks to VAU Training, I get a grasp on VA. The VAU training allowed me hands-on experience of the VA Roles.

 

Knowing I still have to develop the skills and knowledge from this training, I will undergo a thorough internship to apply these teachings and to enhance the gained skills.

About Me

 

I am a single mom of 5 adopted children: a 13-year-old son of my brother who was with me since 3 days old; two girls, 15 & 16 years old, who are children of my sister who passed away from colon cancer last December 2018; a 13-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl who are children of my youngest sister who also died of ovarian cancer last November 2020. They are MY BIGGEST WHY I go out of my comfort zone taking an alternative career path not so familiar to me. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with my responsibilities, but I need to be aggressive and resourceful to be productive.
